Tour of Drum Workshop

I flew out to the Drum Workshop factory in Oxnard, CA on Sunday and we had a day-long event on Monday. It included a tour through the factory where we saw the entire production process for building handmade drums. We got to build our own drum shell as a souvenir and we checked out the new finishes on the DW Performance Series Kits.

They had Terry Bozzio and Thomas Lang there to demo the gear. They are both nationally known drummers. We spent an hour and a half giving them feedback on their product and the business in general. Lots of food and some great music from local artists.

DW is a custom shop and they can build virtually anything you can imagine including exotic woods and custom graphics. They’re a great company and very attentive to the needs of the customer and their dealer network.
